Mrs. Breeze
Executive Assistant
A Washington State native, Mrs. Breeze graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Tourism Management and a Minor in Dance Education and Ensemble. She has worked at both Charter and Private schools in Northern and Southern California and is happy to be a part of Kinetic's inaugural staff. Mrs. Breeze is passionate about the Performing Arts and loves to travel and spend time with her husband and two Miniature Poodles, Meggie and Molly.

Mrs. Rierson
5th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Rierson is proud to have been part of the Kinetic Academy (KA) inaugural staff. She loves the vision and mission of KA. Her goal is to educate the whole child, so she focuses on strong academics, social competence, and character development. In her three years at KA, she has developed a comprehensive 5th grade program that includes extra-curriculars such as an over-night science camp, Student Council, and Yearbook Club. Mrs. Rierson earned her B.A. in English as well as her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through UC Irvine. In recent years, she has received training in Project Based Learning, Responsive Classroom, and Units of Study for Reading and Writing through Columbia University.

Ms. Doherty
4th Grade Teacher
Ms. Doherty obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach in 2012, and continued on to receive her Master’s Degree in Education in 2017. She has experience teaching 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. In her free time, Ms. Doherty enjoys the outdoors, whether camping, hiking, or paddle boarding.

Mrs. Cambare
3rd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Cambare graduated from California State University of Long Beach in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a CLAD emphasis.

Mrs. Wong
2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Wong received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and graduated with honors from California State University, Long Beach in 2012. She has experience teaching Kindergarten, first, second, and sixth grades.

Mrs. Biagi
1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. Biagi received her undergraduate degree from California State University, Long Beach and Masters in Education and Multiple Subject Credential from California State University, Fullerton. When she is not at school teaching, she loves traveling, camping, and hiking with her friends and family. On the weekends, you will most likely find her headed down to the beach!

Mrs. Gennawey
Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Gennawey, a New Jersey native, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education along with a Language Arts Middle School credential from Montclair State University. Montclair State is one of the most highly distinguished teacher preparation programs in the country.

Mrs. Snodgrass
Transitional Kindergarten Teacher
This is Mrs. Snodgrass' first year teaching TK at Kinetic Academy. She received her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential from Cal State Channel Islands. Mrs. Snodgrass has experience teaching 2nd grade, 4th grade, and art for all grade levels. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Snodgrass enjoys reading, baking and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be joining the Kinetic Academy team and is ready to have an awesome year!

Mrs. Roy
Art Teacher
Mrs.Roy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Design from the University of California, Los Angeles. She continued on to obtain her teaching credential and took her first teaching position in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Mrs.Roy has taught kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grades.

Mrs. Danzer
Spanish Teacher
Mrs. Danzer graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a B. A. in Political Science. She went on to obtain her Early Childhood teaching credential and taught preschool for 3 years. She later returned to Cal State Long Beach to obtain her Multiple Subject Credential. When not at school, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Mendez
6th Grade Teacher
Meet Mrs. Elizabeth Mendez, your 6th grade Teacher! She is excited to join the Kinetic Team this year. Her mission in education is to provide all students with opportunities, encouragement, and access to resources in order to be successful in their academic career. She believes that with guidance, determination and hard work, students thrive to become well-rounded individuals. Mrs. Mendez has over 15 years of teaching experience from Kindergarten to high school. Before coming to Kinetic, she served as Principal at Saint John of God Elementary School. She is excited to return to the classroom during the shift to virtual teaching. Mrs. Mendez was born and raised in Long Beach, California. A proud first-generation college graduate, Mrs. Mendez holds a B.A. in Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University, a Master of Education in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in School Leadership.

Ms. Jackson
5th Grade Teacher
Ms. Jackson loves teaching fifth grade at Kinetic Academy! She received her B.A. in World Arts and Culture from UCLA. Itching to live abroad, she earned the certifications to teach English as a Second Language and moved to Yamaguchi-Ken, Japan where she taught students of all ages. This experience inspired Ms. Jackson to become a teacher back home in California where she earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with EL authorization from Vanguard University. Ms. Jackson is passionate about teaching the whole child, with an emphasis on high academic performance, ethical behavior, responsibility, and respect. In her classroom, thinking outside of the box is encouraged! A fun fact about Ms. Jackson is that she grew up in a Temecula charter school forged by her parents. In her free time, she consumes too much sparkling water and enjoys the theater.

Mrs. Cattau
4th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Cattau graduated from California State University, Northridge, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She has experience teaching preschool, 4th, and 5th grade. Mrs. Cattau also enjoys camping, hiking, and yoga.

Mrs. Hansen
3rd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Hansen graduated from California State University Long Beach with her Bachelor of Arts and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She has experience teaching in private and public schools in Orange County. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and taking their dog to the beach.

Mrs. Kunze
2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Kunze experienced various career paths before finding her passion for teaching. She holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Irvine, as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Single Subject Math Teaching Credential and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University Long Beach. Mrs. Kunze is a long time Huntington Beach resident and spends her free time with her family, enjoying the outdoors and running BraveOnes Foundation in memory of her son.

Ms. Brown
1st Grade Teacher
This is Ms. Brown's 5th year teaching 1st grade at Kinetic Academy. She has enjoyed watching the school grow to where it is today. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Long Beach State. She has two children and loves to hike, go to soccer games and play games with her children.

Ms. Lane
Kindergarten Teacher
Miss Lane, an Orange County native, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential all from California State University, Fullerton. Miss Lane has worked with all elementary school grade levels and really enjoys a hands-on learning approach. When she is not in the classroom she enjoys practicing hot yoga, traveling, watching HGTV, and spending valuable time with her loved ones and two fur babies.

Mrs. George
Special Education
& Student Services
Mrs. George received her General Education Credential, Special Education Credential and Master’s Degree in Special Education from Chapman University. She also received a Master’S Degree in Educational Administration from The George Washington University. She has taught in many educational settings; General Education, Inclusion Model, Learning Center Model, Special Day Class and Non -Public Schools, ranging from k-12+ grades. She has over 15 years of experience and loves finding ways to help educate students who are struggling. In her spare time, she enjoys watching/playing sports, baking and doing crafts with her 2 kids. She grew up in Huntington Beach and loves being a part of our KA Family!

Mrs. Milano
PE Teacher
Coach Milano is our Physical Education teacher. She is originally from Rhode Island, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology. In 2013, she moved to the golden state and made Huntington Beach her new home. She received her California credentials in K-12 physical education and health education. She began teaching P.E. at Kinetic Academy in the fall of 2016. She spends her free time being active outdoors with Mr. Milano and their dog Lucky.

Mrs. Warren
Teacher on Special Assignment
Mrs. Warren graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor degree in Liberal Studies. She continued her studies at CSULB and obtained a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Mrs. Warren enjoys reading, music and spending time with her husband and three kids at the beach.

Mascot
Sammie Lionetti has been part of Kinetic Academy since opening in 2016! He loves to interact with students, parents and staff and make sure we know when deliveries have arrived. His favorite things to do while onsite, is greet students at the gate, Walk & Talk in the morning, have students read to him in the office and visit classrooms.
