Just four weeks to go until opening day! Thank you to the families that joined us last weekend at Lake Park. It was nice to get our kids together and start making some friends! Here are a few quick updates as we head into the weekend.
Calling All Volunteers
Our teachers could use some help readying their classrooms. We have created a page to start housing ALL of our volunteer opportunities as we get them. In addition to donating your time, we will have slots for food donations for our teachers during busy times, school needs in case you have an item to donate that we need, and of course volunteer time. For now, check out who needs help and when by clicking this link.
You asked and we got them up! Supply lists for all grades are posted. Click here to see them.
Dress Code UPDATES
There are a couple additions to our Dress code guidelines which you can see published on our website. Notably, t-shirts with the kinetic logo will be available for purchase starting Friday 8/5 for students and adults on the Lands' End website. These t-shirts may be worn at school every Friday for KA Spirit Days. More information can be found on the dress code page on our website. Remember to take advantage of the discounts at Lands' End emailed to enrolled families earlier today.
Play Dates/ Get Acquainted
Each grade should have already received an email with some parent sponsored play dates for their grade levels. (2nd & 4th grade your invite is coming in the morning!)
If you are interested in hosting a get together, please email us and we will get the word out! More dates coming.
We are very happy to announce that Kinetic Academy is implementing the Hall Pass system for campus visitor management. This system allows us to effectively manage visitors and volunteers in an efficient manner while also protecting our students. We want parents to always feel welcome while also balancing our need to have the safety of our students and staff be our top priority. We believe this system positions us to do both. Additionally, by purchasing this system we have absorbed the cost that normally would have been put on the parent to do Live Scan. Parents will not be required to do Live Scans for routine volunteer time.
Enrollment & Occupancy
We are very near full! We wanted to let you know that due to occupancy limitations, we are firmly capping our enrollment at 260 students. This means that not all of our 11 classrooms will reach 25 students. We are making every effort to keep siblings together but we are still in first come first served for enrollment.
Remember, our school calendar and many more helpful resources can be found on our 'Resources' tab. Here are some upcoming important dates. Our next Info Session is this Saturday, August 6th from 10am to 11am.
