Mrs. Lionetti

A southern California native and long time Orange County resident, Mrs. Lionetti received her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from University of California, Santa Barbara. She went on to obtain her teaching credential from California State University, Bakersfield and Masters in Educational Administration from Concordia University. With over 15 years of experience in education, Mrs. Lionetti has a strong foundation in elementary education. She has worked at a variety of schools in a number of settings with diverse populations of students and has taught Kindergarten through 5th grade. In 2016, she took a leap of faith and dedicated herself to opening Huntington Beach City School District’s first charter school, Kinetic Academy.
"I wish I would have had the opportunity to attend a school that offers what Kinetic offers to our students," Mrs. Lionetti. She believes that all students should receive a quality education that gives them multiple opportunities to excel, which is exactly what Kinetic Academy strives to do.
In her spare time, Mrs. Lionetti enjoys spending time with her family, friends, husband and their dog, Sammie.

Ms. Gallagher
Assistant Principal

Ms. Gallagher is a proud native of Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications from San Diego State University, followed by a multiple subject teaching credential from National University. She also holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Brandman University. Throughout her 15 years in education, Ms. Gallagher has developed a deep passion for teaching and leadership. She has taught kindergarten through 8th grade, established a successful science and history learning center, and has served as an Assistant Principal and Principal. As a school choice advocate with extensive experience working in charter schools, she is deeply committed to inspiring a lifelong learning mindset. She is excited to join the Kinetic Academy team and share her enthusiasm for empowering students to reach their full potential.
Ms. Gallagher’s favorite pastimes are spent with her family and adventuring outdoors. An avid ocean enthusiast, she loves time on the water, sailing and competing in outrigger canoeing. She enjoys the thrill of competition and the sense of camaraderie that comes from a team working together to achieve their goals

Mrs. Napoli - Pugh

Mrs. Napoli-Pugh is ecstatic to be joining the Kinetic Academy team. She is a southern California native, born and raised in Huntington Beach. Mrs. Napoli-Pugh graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communications and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential for Pre-K through 12th grades with an added CLAD certification. Continuing her education, she completed CTE credentials in Learning, Communicative, Severely Handicapped,
and Resource Specialist. She earned her Master’s Degree in Special
Education, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration with an Administrative Credential. Throughout her 32+ years of teaching, she has taught in a variety of educational settings.; General Education, Inclusion, Learning Center model, Resource Classes, Specialized Academic Instruction, Special Day classes, Adult Education, Charter Schools, and Non-Public schools. During her free time, Mrs. Napoli-Pugh enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Bradfield

Meet Mrs. Bradfield, a Southern California native, she is elated to join the Kinetic Team. Mrs. Bradfield enjoys supporting the day-to-day Office Manager/Administrative duties, is well versed, meticulous, task driven and a dedicated individual. She has proven talent and efficiency for aligning business objectives with comprehensive knowledge to achieve maximum operational impacts. Mrs. Bradfield has a strong passion in helping others, along with assisting families, students, teachers and staff with the utmost commitment, and professionalism. She has lived in the Newport Beach area for over 25 years with her husband Jerry and son Brody and enjoys the beach, bike rides and boating with family and friends.

Mrs. Hersh is excited to be apart of Kinetic Academy. She lives in Huntington Beach (born and raised) and graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. For the past few years, she has worked in the Fountain Valley School District as a substitute teacher and enjoys working in an educational setting. Outside of work, her hobbies include camping and cooking with her husband and two daughters.

Mrs. Anderson is thrilled to be joining Kinetic Academy this year! Mrs. Anderson started her teaching career in Texas, working in multiple districts as well as both public and private schools. She has worked in education for over 20 years in positions ranging from the math coach to math and science teacher ranging from grades 1 through 8. Mrs. Anderson earned her undergraduate degree in Finance and MBA in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her teaching credentials include a multi-subject teaching credential as well as certifications in Special Education, Gifted and Talented and English as a Second Language.
Mrs. Anderson currently lives in Long Beach with her husband and dog, and loves spending as much time outdoors as possible, either cycling, hiking or boating. Her two children are grown and living in Texas and Alabama.

Mrs. Rierson

Mrs. Rierson is proud to have been part of the Kinetic Academy (KA) inaugural staff. She loves the vision and mission of KA. Her goal is to educate the whole child, so she focuses on strong academics, social competence, and character development. While at Kinetic, she has developed a comprehensive 5th grade program that includes extra-curriculars such as an over-night science camp, Student Council, and Yearbook Club. Mrs. Rierson earned her B.A. in English as well as her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through UC Irvine. In recent years, she has received training in Project Based Learning, Responsive Classroom, and Units of Study for Reading and Writing through Columbia University.

Ms. Nguyen

Ms. Nguyen’s love of helping others learn started as a teenager, tutoring her nieces and nephews. She now has 12 nieces and nephews that she enjoys spending time with! They conduct experiments, bake, do puzzles, have movie nights, play games, and make crafts. Ms. Nguyen received her B.A. in Liberal Studies from the California State University of Monterey Bay, where she graduated with honors. She obtained her M.A. and teaching credential from the University of California, Irvine. There, she received the President’s Educator Fellowship which supports teachers that demonstrate a strong commitment to making a difference in the lives of students from low-income families. Ms. Nguyen loves to learn and aspires to foster that love for learning in her students. In her free time, she enjoys reading at the beach, gardening, playing board games, exploring new places, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Maddie.

Ms. Clingan graduated from Whitman College with her BA in English Literature and the University of Southern California with her MAT in Elementary Education. She has worked with students in a variety of grade levels and absolutely loves teaching Third Grade at Kinetic Academy! In her free time, she loves hiking, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and her two cats, Scout and Atticus.

Miss Henley, a Chicago native, moved to Orange County in 2020 to explore the west coast and enjoy life by the beach! She received her bachelors degree in elementary education at Michigan State University and her masters degree in special education - severe and multiple disabilities at the University of Arizona. Miss Henley currently holds a multiple subject teaching credential as well as an educational specialist credential. During her free time, Miss Henley loves going to the beach, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the sunshine. She cannot wait to start her second year at KA and make more memories in second grade!

This is Mrs. Snodgrass' third year teaching at Kinetic Academy. She received her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and her teaching credential from Cal State Channel Islands. She has taught both second grade and TK, but her very favorite grade to teach is first! When she is not teaching, Mrs. Snodgrass is usually playing with her son, Cade and her dog, Maggie. She is excited for another great year at Kinetic Academy!

Mrs. Hill, an Orange County native, received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources, and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential all from California State University, Fullerton. Mrs. Hill has worked with all elementary school grade levels and really enjoys a hands-on learning approach. This is Mrs. Hill's 3rd year teaching Kindergarten at Kinetic and she truly enjoys being part of her students' learning journey! When she is not in the classroom she enjoys practicing hot yoga, traveling, watching HGTV, and spending valuable time with her loved ones and two fur babies.

Ms. Cooper joined Kinetic Academy as the Transitional Kindergarten teacher in November 2021. She graduated with her BA in Liberal Studies from California State University, Long Beach and received her Multiple Subject Credential from California State University, Channel Islands. She has been teaching the preschool, TK, and kindergarten age groups for 4 years. Her favorite part about working with younger students is being able to watch her students grow socially, academically, and physically throughout the year. Outside of school, you can find Ms. Cooper doing anything outdoors and social! Her favorite activities include going for runs on the boardwalk, bonfires with friends, and playing any kind of competitive group game, like trivia or cornhole. Ms. Cooper is excited for her first full year at Kinetic

Coach Milano is our Physical Education teacher. She is originally from Rhode Island, where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology. In 2013, she moved to the golden state and made Huntington Beach her new home. She received her California credentials in K-12 physical education and health education. She began teaching P.E. at Kinetic Academy in the fall of 2016. She spends her free time being active outdoors with Mr. Milano and their dog Lucky.

In her years as a Kineducator, Mrs. Warren has been privileged to work with students and teachers in various K-5 settings. She has worked as a classroom teacher and a Reading Specialist. Her goal is to create academically engaging learning experiences through an environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and kindness. Committed to sharing her passion for literacy and learning, she works with small groups of students and believes focusing on the reading process and a growth mindset are key. Mrs. Warren earned her bachelor degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and has her multiple subject teaching credential. In her free time, she enjoys reading, music and spending time with her husband and three kids at the beach.

Ms. Kay

Ms. Kay grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii and has lived in southern California for the last eight years. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University, earning her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and gaining seven years of professional teaching experience. She has taught Kindergarten through 8th grade in the public, private, and charter sectors. Ms. Kay has been honored with several awards for her lesson planning and teaching abilities, including the SEDI Teacher Awards for Sustainability Curriculum and the Imagine Arizona Lesson Plan Contest. She is currently obtaining her Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration from University of Massachusetts Global. A few years ago, Ms. Kay started her own education business which allowed her to take her education interests to the “field,” voyaging around the world and traveling independently to 81 countries. She gained experience as the Director of an international community service program. Now, Ms. Kay aims to use her knowledge of teaching and learning, her drive, and her strong sense of vision to be a dynamic and effective Elementary and Middle School Principal.

Mrs. Vento

Mrs. Vento is beyond thrilled to join the Kinetic team! She received a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Illinois State University, a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from California State University/San Bernardino, and her educational administration credential from California State University/Long Beach. Mrs. Vento taught elementary school for 10 years, worked as an intervention specialist for 5 years, and a principal for 7 years. During this time, she was named the California Teacher of the Year for her work with struggling readers, the recipient of the Orange County Human Relations Award for her collaboration with the Gang Reduction and Intervention Partnership program, and the winner of a National Blue Ribbon Award for exemplary high performance of an elementary school. Mrs. Vento is committed to adding to Kinetic’s vision by enhancing and supporting learning opportunities infused with collaboration, innovation, critical-thinking, and problem-solving for all students.
Mrs. Vento resides right here in Huntington Beach with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she loves to travel, read, and bike on the boardwalk. Mrs. Vento is proud to serve and support the students, families, and staff at Kinetic Academy!

A Washington State native, Mrs. Breeze graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Tourism Management and a Minor in Dance Education and Ensemble. She has worked at both Charter and Private schools in Northern and Southern California and is happy to be a part of Kinetic's inaugural staff. Mrs. Breeze is passionate about the Performing Arts and loves to travel and spend time with her Daughter, Husband and two Mini Poodles.

Professor Ostrander

A Southern California native, Professor Ostrander graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Theater Arts, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Single Subject Teaching credentials in General Science and Biology, and a CTE credential in Arts, Media, and Entertainment. She believes in being the change you wish to see in the world and always including and elevating those around her. Professor Ostrander’s passions, other than teaching, include acting and directing on stage and at renaissance fairs, training dogs (including her own service dog, Sirius Black), camping, animals, and spending time with her other fur baby, Mochi, her husband, family, and friends.

Mr. Boone

Mr. Boone grew up near lakes and mountains in Folsom, northern California, before living in both San Luis Obispo and Los Angeles for college. After graduating from UCLA with a BA in History, Mr. Boone spent his 20s traveling to 49 different countries teaching History, English, PE, and Science to students from K-12. He lived and worked on 5 continents during this time, and lived in Spain, Japan, Chile, and Australia. He became fluent in Spanish and proficient in French while abroad. Mr. Boone returned to his native California to receive his teaching credential in Social Sciences and English, and a Master of Education in English Learner Equity and Academic Achievement. He now enjoys surfing with his fiancé, playing tennis and pickleball, training for various races, and playing with his corgi puppy. Mr. Boone believes middle school is a fantastic time for students to develop critical social and academic skills before entering the fast-paced world of high school and beyond, and is delighted to help his students be healthy, happy, and successful!

Mrs. Kunze experienced various career paths before finding her passion for teaching. She holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Irvine, as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Single Subject Math Teaching Credential and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University Long Beach. Mrs. Kunze is a long time Huntington Beach resident and spends her free time with her family, enjoying the outdoors and running BraveOnes Foundation in memory of her son.

Ms. Jackson has been teaching fifth grade at Kinetic Academy for 2 1/2 years. She received her B.A. in World Arts and Culture from UCLA. Itching to live abroad, Ms. Jackson earned the certifications to teach English as a Second Language and moved to Yamaguchi-Ken, Japan where she taught students of all ages. This experience inspired Ms. Jackson to become a teacher back home in California where she earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with EL authorization from Vanguard University. She then completed her MA in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Jackson is passionate about teaching the whole child, with an emphasis on high academic performance, ethical behavior, responsibility, and respect. In her classroom, thinking outside of the box is encouraged! A fun fact about Ms. Jackson is that she grew up in a Temecula charter school forged by her parents. In her free time, she consumes too much sparkling water and enjoys the theater.

Ms. Rodriguez is excited to join the Kinetic team this year. She received her bachelor's degree and teaching credential from California State University Long beach and is currently working on a Master’s degree in reading and literacy education at California State University Fullerton. Ms. Rodriguez has experience working with students in kindergarten through 5th grade as a reading intervention teacher and substitute. She believes every child will succeed if given the tools they need. She lives in Huntington Beach with her 2 teenage daughters and her dog Daisy. In her free time she enjoys reading and yoga.

Mrs. Atanacio (Ah-tuh-nah-sho) is excited to join Kinetic Academy this school year. A Maryland native, she graduated from The College of New Jersey with her B.S. in Elementary Education and English. She then went back to her alma mater to achieve her master’s in Integrative STEM Education. She is passionate about project based learning and helping her students learn through making and creating. In her spare time, Mrs. A enjoys knitting for her friends and family members. She also enjoys skiing with her family and her husband, Chris.

Ms. Schall is so excited to be joining the Kinetic Academy team. She is a southern California native, born and raised in Long Beach. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from Cal State Long Beach and Masters in Education from Claremont Graduate University. Ms. Schall loves going to the beach, camping and enjoying the outdoors with her family. Snowboarding, mountain biking and waterskiing are a few of her favorite things to do.

Ms. Brown has been teaching 1st grade at Kinetic Academy since opening in 2016. She has enjoyed watching the school grow to where it is today. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Long Beach State and is native to Orange County. She has two teenage children and loves to hike, go to soccer games and play games with her children.

Mrs. Miller is beyond thrilled to be joining Kinetic Academy full-time this school year! She graduated with her BA in Psychology from California Baptist University in Riverside, as well as obtained her Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. She has had the wonderful privilege of teaching grades 1-4, and now Kindergarten! She has always had a passion for teaching, and loves nothing more than seeing her students grow throughout the school year. In her free time, Mrs. Miller’s favorite thing to do is travel. She has visited 18 countries, and continues to visit more! When she isn’t teaching or traveling, you can find Mrs. Miller at the beach, hiking in the mountains, spending time with her husband and 2 kitties, or snuggling up on the couch with a cup of coffee and a good book!

Mrs.Roy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Design from the University of California, Los Angeles. She continued on to obtain her teaching credential and took her first teaching position in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Mrs.Roy has taught kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grades.

Originally from Nashville, TN, Ms. Boone graduated from Lipscomb University with a B.A in Spanish and Education. She has experience teaching Spanish at the middle school level, English as a Second Language and Brazilian Portuguese. She has traveled extensively in Europe, Latin America and the U.S. teaching Brazilian dance and has managed her own dance business for the past five years. She is returning to the classroom to inspire in KA’s students a love of the Spanish language and the cultures of its speakers. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys partner dancing, gardening, and checking off more destinations on her travel bucket list.

Sammie Lionetti has been part of Kinetic Academy since opening in 2016! He loves to interact with students, parents and staff and make sure we know when deliveries have arrived. His favorite things to do while onsite, is greet students at the gate, Walk & Talk in the morning, have students read to him in the office and visit classrooms.
